Due to the finite nature of fresh water, it is of the utmost importance to protect this natural resource for all life on Earth. In order to protect this natural resource, we as individuals must understand where our water comes from, as well as emphasizing the importance of water quality on human health. Water conservation is important to sustaining our ever-growing human population on the planet. As fresh water availability dwindles, human and environmental health are adversely affected.
